Duties and Responsibilities

Baking and Pastry Creation: Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread, etc. following traditional and modern recipes, decorate pastries using different icings, toppings, and other decorations and develop new recipes and seasonal baked goods.
Ensure the quality of all products meets the company’s standards, taste and evaluate baked goods to maintain high-quality standards.
Inventory and Supply Management: Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar, etc., and place orders when necessary, ensure inventory is managed efficiently to minimize waste and maximize production.
Kitchen Management: Maintain a clean and organized baking area, ensure all equipment is in good working order and properly maintained, adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen 
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate baking schedules and ensure timely delivery of baked goods, provide training and guidance to junior bakers and assistants.
Customer Service: Interact with customers to take special orders and customize baked goods as per their requests, address and resolve any customer complaints or feedback regarding bakery items.
