Main Function:
Fishmonger are responsible for displaying of fish, weighing and cleaning of  fish being purchased by customers, at appropriate time and and provide assistance to the customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1.    Prepare ice display table by removing the ice and refill with new ice.
2.    Return the damaged or spoiled fish to the Suppliers or dispose them.
3.    Arrange fish in the storage room and or move to display area as per the requirement  
4.    Arrange fish on the display table and topping the fish to ensure proper cooling.
5.    Cross check the printed price on the price label with the price list and displaying of price labels.
6.    Assist the customers for selecting fish, taking orders and weighing of fish ,preparation for grill and fry section 
7.    Serve the customer with customer service standard (Greeting, Smiling and helping)
8.    Carry out grilling and frying activities as and when necessary or as per the section in charge instruction.
9.    Pack of cleaned fish using sealing machine.
10.    Maintain cleaning and hygiene standards of display tables ,cooking areas ,storage rooms etc
11.    Monitor and maintain the food safety checklists and provide at the time of inspection
12.    Apply "FIFO" by arranging old items in the front  to reduce damage or spoliation
13.    Check for freshness and quality of the products on display and discard as and when necessary with the approval of superiors
14.    Co-ordinate with Price administrator for  price board  preparation of price board , fix and keep update and item's prices
15.    Acquire good knowledge of  variety of fish and produce the information upon customer queries 
16.    Apply Union Coop stocking policies.
